My favorite powder...or so I thought~Mar 16, 2012
I love this product in the regular "finishing veil" light/fair color, but have recently been unable to find it in stores. I'm assumming it has been discontinued, going away much like many cosmetic products do over time. I like it so much (controls shine perfectly, finishes and sets foundation, makes pores and fine lines disappear) that I searched amazon and was exciting to see it here...or so I thought. I knew from the description that it must be the same product I have bought locally, except for the word "bronzing". Since I finally decided that must be a group-title for the products, because all of them referred to both finishing and bronzing (except my last store-bought powder at home!), I took the chance (and paid way too much for shipping!) and ordered. When it arrived I saw that bronze means bronze even with the word fair in the description! For my skin, it is actually too dark:( I think I'll use it some, especially as I get more tan over the summer, but I really wish it didn't say fair in the description, because then I'd have known it isn't actually "fair" after all... No pun intended;) The search for the store equivalent in light AND fair continues.

great brush and powderJan 27, 2013

The brush on this product is much better than on the other Physicians formula organic beige container I bought. The mirror on the container is nice for travel. The powder flows nice and does not clump. The color was a bit dark for my skin but works perfect when I blended it 50:50 with the beige color.
Good product, I'd recommend for light, everyday use.Nov 25, 2014
I really like the color and the light feel of this finishing powder but to me, it hard to control how much I have on my brush since it's attached to the bottom half and you just tap it through. That being said I really like that about it too because it's not messy and I don't lose a ton of powder like I do with the bare minerals or other types of natural powders where you tap a bit out, swirl it to pick it up on the brush and then tap again to lose excess before application. I'm very, very pale-skinned and I have several cats and also help rescue them and in playing with them they get me (not purposefully :) ) a lot on my arms so I have some scars and fresh scratches all the time. I love this product for my arms!! Just to even out my skin tone, hide a bit of the scratch marks and give me a bit of color, or hide my veiny arms. :) It's good for a light, light bronzer on low makeup days where you just want to powder real fast and go too. The mirror on the cap comes in handy in the car too if I think I smeared some mascara or just want to do a quick last min. check, like we do. ;)
Not What I ExpectedMar 14, 2015
Not too sure how I feel about this - I've never had any issues with physician's formula and powders before but this powder dries my skin out a fair amount and by the end of the day I have to re-moisturize. I bought this because finish is supposed to set your makeup and absorb excess oil, but it does the job a little to well. My skin gets oily by the afternoon unless I use finishing, so since I love this brand, I went for it. Oops!
It blends well, but it's supposed to be a finishing for fair colored skin (I have fair/medium tone) and it's actually a "bronzer veil" so it discolors my makeup a little and I can get 2-tone. If you're on the fence with skin tone, pick the lighter one.

DecentJul 14, 2010
The color's not to far off from my skin tone so I don't see much of a difference but others disagree. It's very light, doesn't seem to come off on clothes or fingers but a gentle toner takes it right off. Helps keep shine under control with a touch of summer glow. I wear it nude but it really does have the ability to be worn over foundation and blush. I have very sensitive skin but this doesn't irritate or clog pores.
